Day Two ROCKED!

Whew! A storm blew through last night, so everyone had a wee-hour pyrotechnic show, compliments of God! The lightning bursts were frenzied - and gorgeous! But all of that dazzle left the morning air reeeeally chilly, so everyone tossed the bathing suits to the bottom of the suitcase and scrambled for sweaters & jeans, instead! Brr! The day eventually warmed up & turned out another winner - Florida sunshine & lots of smiles and laughter to go with it!

After the couples had a chance to share together in Common Ground as the kids enjoyed a movie and tie-dye together, the Moms were treated to haircuts and pampering galore. Last night was a special treat, as Chef Jim cooked up an incredible Italian feast - and razzle dazzle to bring it tableside, a la dozens of volunteers bedecked in black shorts & white shirts, striding single file with bowls of salad & fixins held high! Host Casey Darnell set the tone for the evening with festive music - first was "Be Our Guest!" It was an incredible evening for families and volunteers alike, including games on the lawn and quite a few happy tears.
